April 14-20, 2014
How far along: 30
weeks.
Total weight gain:
Unsure, especially after my shower and eating out while being down south.
Maternity clothes:
Maternity tops and bottoms. I bought
some tops and skirts from Old Navy and my sister-in-law also gave me several
bottoms and tops to try.
Stretch marks:
Just the couple I already have, and lathering with coco nut oil and Belly
Butter.
Sleep: I did not sleep well while down south (boy
did I miss my Snoogle, although Wally loved using it while I was away).
Best moments this
week: I loved having my mom and grandmother feel and see our baby boy move
in my belly. It was an amazing fun
feeling having them feel the baby move.
My dad also drove me and all of our presents up to Humboldt and he
stayed for a couple of days to visit. We
did several hikes- Trinidad Head, Redwood
Community Forest,
and majority of the 5 mile trails on the Arcata Marsh (well hikes to the
non-outdoorsy person but walking trails to my dad, the avid hiker). Also the baby has been having much larger
movements in my belly and I love the feeling and watching my belly move (yes
sometimes it looks like there is an alien inside).
Miss anything: I
have been lucky not to miss any food or drinks.
Although I have had some gulps of cherry soda. I love the baby movements, but I am starting
to get sad knowing that I only have 10 weeks left of having them.
Food cravings: No
specific craving but I have been enjoying sweets and yogurt.
Pregnancy symptoms:
When walking our hikes I had to stop several times to catch my breath-
stretching/yoga stretches or sitting on benches.
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: The
usual BH contractions.
Belly button in or
out: Belly button out and stretched and feels soft.
Wedding rings on or
off: Wedding rings on.
Happy or moody:
Very happy to have had a week off for spring break and spending time with my
family and friends. I am sad to have to
go back to work and nervous because the weeks of being pregnant are dwindling
and I am feeling over whelmed with things that need to be done before the baby
comes.
Looking forward to:
Sunday was Easter, and Will and I were excited talking about the traditions we
will have as a little family, and the joy we will have watching our little boy
get excited during holidays.
