Wally's Dog Birthday

Memorial weekend was extra fun because our little furry baby turned 3! He turned 21 in dog years, so we celebrated Vegas style.

 For Christmas my mom bought Wally homemade dog biscuit mix, so I made them as doggie treat for the dogs who came to the party.  They were a delicious hit among the dogs!  My sister-in-law made the W on all the bones.  The human had rice crispy bones as a Wally birthday dessert.

The dog mommies got together to take a picture. There were 6 dogs at Wally's Party, he had a blast running around the backyard all day with his friends.

The weather so wonderfully sunny day in Arcata that everyone enjoyed the picnic style party and watching the dogs play and run around.

A New Friend

This weekend was a fun weekend.  Our friends adopted another dog, Gus, who Wally loves; a friend road a bicycle to Humboldt from Seattle, WA; and it was a sunny weekend in Arcata.

This weekend I also gathered ideas for Wally's birthday party next weekend.  I know, I sound crazy, but last year everyone gave me a hard time, but the doggies AND humans had a blast.  This year Wally will be 21 in dog years so we will be having a Vegas themed party.  Stay tuned for next week's post about the party!

Elton John

Wow! This weekend was amazing.  I was away in Las Vegas visiting my brother and Elton John.  While I was away my husband took our Wally to the beach to surf and run around.  Our friend texted me this picture of Wally while at the beach, Wally was having a blast!

While the boys were playing at the beach and having friends over for dinner I was spending quality time with my brother.  My brother bought me tickets to see Elton John and my husband bought the plane ticket for me to see Elton.  Seeing Elton John was a night I will remember for ever!

Weekend Fun

It has been a fun weekend for the Folger family.  Saturday was unbelievably warm, about 80 degrees.  We meet friends at the river.  Wally was happy to be swimming in the water, but is still tired from the fun in the sun.
